Gymflesh® School Mission: To promote the mind to be coherent and attentive, to encourage the heart to be persevering and compassionate, and to instruct the flesh to be healthy and durable.

Gymflesh® School presents responsible and proactive interdisciplinary instruction encouraging holistic human development. To maintain our standards of academic excellence, enrollment in Gymflesh® School and University Project is by invitation only, a remarkable privilege granted to those with exceptional potential as athletes of self and community.

 

The Gymflesh® School styles are simple yet intense, straightforward but unpretentious, necessary albeit playful and fun.

 

Gymflesh® School includes ancient and state-of-the-art facts from philosophy and wisdom traditions, medical practice and physics, exercise and fitness protocols, sports and athletics, military procedures and martial arts, kinesiology and physiatry, prevention and rehabilitation, psychological and behavioral sciences, physical and occupational therapies, wellness and nutritional guidelines, and so much more. Gymflesh® School makes these academic studies easy to understand and apply in all situations.

University Project

The Gymflesh® School University Project is the academic hub of all programs of education. This institution develops all courses of action and implements each consultation and initiative.

The University Project presents academic Gymflesh® School Certificates to invited graduates according to their particular ranks, accomplishments, and major fields of study. Qualified Gymflesh® School alumni may opt to work toward their nationally recognized certificates as Master Personal Trainers and Athletic Instructors once having completed at minimum 400 supervised health education and medical exercise program hours.

Gymflesh® never sells its certifications, nor do they expire. Matriculated students in good standing earn the privilege to be Gymflesh® Master Personal Trainers and Athletic Instructors and receive their certificates only upon academic and peer review and top-tier graduation.

Intern Opportunity Program

The Gymflesh® School Intern Opportunity Program invites qualified students to register for active duty within the University Project as apprentices toward the purpose of becoming instructors and staff. Interns advance toward full matriculation within Gymflesh® School by tallying supervised program-hour credits as determined by the Executive Board. (Click here to learn more.)

Registrar’s Office

The Registrar’s Office is responsible for student applications, intakes, program schedules, and class registrations. Individuals are welcome to contact the Registrar for information, to apply for private consultation and group initiatives, and to inquire about custom-designed programs.

Bursar’s Office 

The Bursar’s Office processes all program and service payments. The Bursar understands the demands of financial obligations and makes all possible provisions to accommodate individual and corporate budgets. Financial assistance and grant aid may apply to some applicants.

Academic Records

Students’ official Gymflesh® School records are on file with Academic Records. Gymflesh® assures confidentiality of personal information and does not share or sell any information with third parties without the express written consent of the students. Academic Records provides students confirmations of their matriculation, letters of recommendation, and Gymflesh® School Certificate verifications upon written request, release, and a nominal fee.

Alumni Office

The Gymflesh® School Alumni Office provides proactive networking and advocacy for graduates toward furthering their employment and educational possibilities within Gymflesh® or with outside venues. The Alumni Office keeps graduates informed of new and upcoming Gymflesh® School programs and events. A Gymflesh® School Alumni Association is being designed to provide additional services and exchanges.

Gymflesh® Symposium

Periodically Gymflesh Corporation hosts a regional think-tank conference on emergent health education and medical exercise issues and initiatives. Coordinated by the Executive Board, Gymflesh® Symposium serves as a town-hall-type professional critique of past projects and designs toward the goal of upgrading and refining all Gymflesh® services.

Gymflesh® Symbolic Language and Translations

Gymflesh® Symbolic Language and Translations are corporate-specific and are an uniquely devised system of visual and audible codes to cue participants to particular performance maneuvers and styles of exercise.

 

To emphasize precise health education standards and inclusive applications, subsequently galvanizing uniform codes of medical exercise prescriptions, Gymflesh® employs this specialized terminology. Because of the absence of consistent technical jargon and practice, Gymflesh® Symbols and Translations takes imprecise, often inaccurate, health and exercise language and translates them into clear-cut, basic and accurate definitions in line with Gymflesh® MEST® (Medical Exercise and Structural Training) Techniques. This exclusive Gymflesh® language, its interpretations and applications, is taught throughout Gymflesh® School and is made available through various Gymflesh® Press publications.

 

There is nothing comparable or similar or insinuative to Gymflesh® Symbolic Language and Translations in the health education and medical exercise fields.

Having been away for a long time, Socrates returns to town and asks about the news he missed.

His friends tell him about a young man, Charmides, the greatest of all athletes, the most beautiful of all people, and sought by everyone for his overpowering physique.

When Charmides enters the room, Socrates says to himself with heightened, passionate interest:

“Has he not a beautiful face? … But you would think nothing of his face … if you could see his naked form. He is absolutely perfect.”

And now Socrates returns the ultimate question:

“By Hercules! … There never was such a prime example of external beauty. If he has only one other slight addition …

"If he has a breathtaking mind and attention-grabbing heart! ...

"Then, before we see his naked flesh, should we not ask him to show us his inner person, also naked and undisguised?”
